lol aye, there is some good ski-ing out that way, but no snow at all at the moment. There's usually a big cross-country event next month starting in Bedrichov but it's looking like that will be cancelled at the moment. I think Spindler's Hut has some snow, but it's one of the few places with any.

Mmm. Mild winter so far. Touch wood we get a 'dump' before Feb as we're supposed to be off to Beschydy (apologies for my spelling btw). Again that's towards the Slovakia side. Mind you, we're also supposed to be getting a house reconstructed which is taking an age so a lot of snow isn't going to speed that up

Oh I don't (yet anyway). We live in London at the moment but would love to decamp to Czech. Just need to figure out the job situation.

It's cheap but not much of a 'do up and make money' market... we're having to spend a lot up front, and the mortgage is then only released by the bank according to their inspections on the work completed, so cash up front needed.
