There's been a bit of trouble around the game going back a while so I know that doesn't help.

Yep I remember there was a defender for Dunfermline called Norrie McCathie and he died from carbon monoxide poisoning at a young age. I remember we played Dunfermline not long after he died and there were some Falkirk fans singing songs about him, mocking him! Shameful, I think they got caught and banned, deservedly!

Woah there beardo, I've driven through Sacriston on many an occassion and never felt uncomfortable.
To be fair, that probably says more about where I was brought up than Sacriston ... carry on.

There's a village north of sacriston called grange villa or something and about fifteen years ago it was such a crime zone that the police literally cordened off the entire village and just went through house by house.

Turned out it was just this one couple who'd moved there from sacriston two years earlier causing all the trouble by themselves.

True story. They'd set up a massive drug ring out of their basement.

How long you been living there, mate? I'm dating someone from sacriston as it happens. He reckons the place has never been the same since the robin hood shut down.

Haha mad, I live just round the corner from the Robin Hood, near the shoes, another interesting pub haha! I've lived here about 6 years, I can usually be found roaming the streets with my crazy black Labrador, Dexter!

It's alright here, I've never had any bother!

The woods between sacriston and daisy hill are pretty nice for dog walking, like. And you're not far from waldridge fell. It's a nice area, tbh.

You get to many games, mate? Bit of a trek from up here.

Yep that wouldn't surprise me! I know that some time before I moved here there was a guy shot dead about 50 yards from my house!

Yeah I take him to the woods, and to waldridge fell regularly! Been at waldridge today! Although now it's dark in the mornings I'm too scared to go into the big bad woods!

No I don't get to any games at all, would love to but the travel etc would be too costly!

Welcome mate. Co. Durham's a big place, whereabouts are you ?

@Allezfan and @Durham Toffee will be able to tell us if you're posh or not.

edit : Chuffin' hell, just looked at your profile. I have family in Witton Gilbert so we're practically related. There's a boss butcher's in Sacriston. Not much else like though.

Just noticed your edit, my best mate lives in Witton Gilbert, big Everton fan too! Mental haha, Yep the butcher's is quality! Love the chippy as well, all on the doorstep!

Haha, it's happened a few times round there over the last 10 or so years mate ... happens all the time, all over the place, just makes the news round there. Think they had a raid in Ushaw not that long ago ffs.

I think her uncle told me about that. Both sides will be at it like.

Do you know big Jocky Scott from Falkirk?

Usually kicks off when they have the Durham Big Meeting every summer and everyone from the villages get together for a good old scrap!

Can we afford to have such a ruffian in this site? He's clearly mixing with the criminal underclass and drug dealing with @Woolly Blue's mate.

Err, excuse me, that's my uncle you're talking about lad.
He's blind as a bat, deaf from shell fire from WW2 and must be 90 years old ( or thereabouts ).

To be fair, I wouldn't put it past him
