Evening all - probably not the best night to sign up but some definite positives there tonight so onwards and upwards!

Everton fan for just shy of 30 years having become obsessed with Lineker at the 86 World Cup as an impressionable 7 year old! He pissed off to Barca shortly after but I'd already fallen too far with Everton and was committed to the long haul unlike my former hero!

All time player probably Duncan but honourable mentions to Big Nev, Dave Watson, Wayne Clarke and Billy Kenny! Or two out of those 4 at least.

Look forward to discussing the beloved Blues!

No, it's fine mate, the other lads' not been on for months and it'd be ace if the two of you ended up arguing over what a complete footballer / waste of space Leon Osman is / was.

Confusing, but ace.

Cheers mate. First used Big Duncs Pigeons on a Glastonbury forum about 3 years back. Unsurprisingly there wasn't much confusion on there!

As for Osman if the other lads a big fan we may not necessarily be in agreement about his effectiveness these days!
 
Welcome mate, as you can tell by the name I fell hard for Everton around the same time due to the same player!

Today's game pretty much encapsulated the past 30 years of supporting Everton really, let us hope Lukaku finds Lineker's goalscoring form and we have some better times ahead.

First World Cup I remember the 86 WC and Lineker with his bandaged wrist and his hat-trick against Poland was my favourite part of it! From there, as a 7 year old I was Everton all the way. And lucky enough that my Uncle and Dad were happy to take me to Goodison regular despite them being Oldham fans!

First World Cup I watched as well, still can hardly believe they played such high profile matches on those awful pitches!
