First World Cup I watched as well, still can hardly believe they played such high profile matches on those awful pitches!

Different era mate. A better era to my mind too. A few Everton in the squad back then too as well as Lineker with Reid, Steven, Stevens and I think Bracewell in the squad as well? Might be wrong on Bracewell.

A great team we had then, both Everton and England. Glad I saw it - at least gives me hope we can get back to it at some point!

Not holding my breath on that mate. Few times over the last 10/12 years thought we had a squad capable but always flatter to deceive in the tournaments.

Googled it and no Bracewell in that squad. We still had 4 in there though
