Somehow found myself along with me Dad and a mate in the Park End stand that day. It went off all over the ground after that tackle - never seen or experienced such vitriol within the crowd especially as 'sh*thouse ' simply turned and walked away after ending McNulty's career without a second glance. Horrible specimen.

I believe he has never offered an apology to Nulty.

Yes, that is definitely the 78/79 squad, but the mystery is where is the Latch.
Dave Thomas had just left, and I have a feeling Bob was in contract dispute.
Latchford never left until the end of 81 Season just after HK arrived.
For the record, that is definitely Jim McGregor far right
That is definitely Pat Heard to his right, and for anyone saying they dont remember him, he is one of only two players in that picture to receive a winners medal from the old European cup days, when it was straight two league knock out.
Pat Heard left at the end of that season as part of the swap deal for John Gidman.
And by the way, thats me, middle row, third from the right.

No need to paper over the CRACKS !!! with this side, certainly not as much as the current one.

Can't find that jigsaw on the net e bay or Amazon, so it may be worth a few quid looking at the posts the team members have been nailed as spot on, it is probably now out of manufacturing ...... so a nice thing to have for a collector etc

Haha pretty certain they aren't manufacturing these anymore. It's a great find though.

Wow, didnt realise Dobbo was missing too from previous year, so is Pejic.
Looks like Lee fell out with the whole of the left side of that team plus the Latch.
Those four were the class in the 78 team
No wonder Lee didnt last another year

I always loved the Todd / McFarland partnership at Derby County, it seemed the perfect pairing to me at the time!
