Anybody have any idea when we'll know about his getting a Work Permit? Really need to get this sorted one way or another. If he qualifies for one he'll probably take Lookmans squad place at a guess, saving us funds for other areas. If he still can't get one we really need to cash in as have holes to fill in the squad & his value is actually pretty high right now.

He won't get one even if he started every game for Nigeria in the AFCON and won the thing he still wouldn't of made enough appearances to qualify and his price was too low to bump up his application points.
He won't be getting a work permit and will be sold. unfortunately i doubt we will ever see him in the royal blue mate.
Meaningless. I dont know why I keep posting about it because people dont seem to pay attention, but once Nigeria made the semi-finals it didnt matter if he played 100% of matches or 0%, he gets the last point he needs simply by being an international from the country. Its right in the FAs document on it for anyone to see.He won't get one even if he started every game for Nigeria in the AFCON and won the thing he still wouldn't of made enough appearances to qualify and his price was too low to bump up his application points.

I hope in a few weeks if we haven’t heard anything about a loan/sale someone actually asks the club if we’re trying to get a permit.
Lightning fast, good finisher, untrainable knack of being in the right place. I know Silva moaned he was right-footed but sack that, Walcott shouldn’t even be in the squad.
I’m surprised at the lack of updates from anyone. I’d have expected the echo to do a quick article or like you’ve said someone to ask Silva about him.
He's apparently doing a big shop at Tesco's next week so could be on for 150 Clubcard points there! What other points has he accumulated?
It's a secondary league. He should now have 4 points under part B because Nigeria made the semis even if he didn't play much. Still doesn't guarantee anything. What other points has he accumulated? I’ve read the document but can’t fully work out what he gets points for. Playing in European competition was one. I don’t think turkey is classed as one of the higher leagues which I think matters and I doubt his transfer fee or wages are high enough to earn points.
