75% of games he’s available for isn’t it?Needs to have been involved in 75% of Nigeria's game over the last 2 year (not sure if this is Jan-Dec or by seasons) so no which is a little unfair as he's been injured. He's played in all the recent ones.

I applaud your use of the underrated table function. It doesn't actually say, I also misread and because of his age it's actually the last 12 months:
In the case of players aged 21 or under at the time of application, the period is reduced to one year. The aim is to make it easier for young, outstanding talent to grow their game in the UK.

If a club’s application is rejected, there is an appeals process. The Exceptions Panel is the appeals body which will consider, on a points based system, the player’s experience and value before deciding whether the player can join the club, regardless of their failed application. A stricter assessment of relevant objective criteria will now be applied in an appeal.
I still feel we should be able to get him here anyway based on the bold considering his CL appearances, goals and the fact he is now regularly playing for Nigeria. There is also an AFCON in June so maybe we'll apply after that.
That will be enough to put up a decent argument too. The fact that he was in the Nigerian squad prior to his injury will also work in his favour. As will the fact he will be just turned 22 when we will be applying for his work permit. The requirements for 21 and under are not quite as strict. The reported interest from top clubs will also help sway the authorities.Needs to have been involved in 75% of Nigeria's game over the last 2 year (not sure if this is Jan-Dec or by seasons) so no which is a little unfair as he's been injured.
