Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru has revealed only to ScoreNigeria.com.ng he is delighted and on top of the world to join Premier League side Everton.

Why Onyekuru opted out of PSG switch

What does Onyekuru bring to the table?

He said it was not an easy decision, but thrilled to make the decision to join ‘The Toffees’ after having to go through all the offers on the table and getting advice.

“I feel very happy and delighted with this move to Everton,” he told SCORENigeria

“I am delighted because my first target of signing for a Premier League team has materialised.

“It wasn’t an easy decision to make for me, but with the advise of top players and proper studying of the other offers.

“It is a great deal for me.”

I trust Walsh's judgement. If we've had to pay relatively high wages to get him then so be it. Could turn out to be a bargain signing in a couple of years.

Just in the last few years the price for a bang average player is millions more than it used to be. Worst we will do is get our money back so long as he isn't a drugs cheat or injury prone or rubbish.

Everton new signing Henry Onyekuru almost joined French millionaires PSG only to opt out even after he had a successful medical in Paris, ScoreNigeria.com.ng can report.

A source close to the player revealed he made a u-turn on PSG following a last push by Everton and Anderlecht.

“Henry almost joined PSG, they had agreed on terms and as a matter of fact, he passed a medical but before the paper work could be done, Anderlecht and Everton interest in signing him was much and as they offered a better wage, he opted out so as to move to England where he always wanted to play.”

Wow we beat one of the rich clubs by offering more wages. I dreamed I'd live to see the day. Great that we got one over on Arsenal also who were named as favourites a few weeks ago. Another exciting young player to add to the growing collection.
