So why haven't the club?
Agree with a lot of that, except for the stepping stone comment. I realise it's not you who's saying that, but if in a few years from now, we're still being seen as a 'stepping stone club', than clearly something has gone wrong at 'project' Everton. Only we ourselves can change that image about us, don't get mad about it, prove them different. This is hypocrisy isn't it. He has already done/said worse things than Lukaku and probably will do again. When this guy says it, you rephrase it as ambition. In January he already said that his next transfer would be a stepping stone for his long career because now he only wants to be sure that he can play the rest will come later [Quite similar to Lukaku isn't it?]; if in the coming years he repeats his behaviour people will be angry but now it's fine. Even now he's proving to be a handful because of the picture, angering his current club so they are delaying their signature. Oh and he's taking transfer advice from Odemwingie, the one who drove to QPR on deadline day.
Agreed, hence the naive comment. He would have no problem doing the same to us. But that is looking way ahead and that is presuming he ever pulls the shirt on.Every footballer in the premier league is a snake.
Bit weird isnt it.
Very naive, a sssssnake is a sssssnake.
There is a big difference between eupen And Everton. He won't be acting like that with us imo.

Not really naive, at a better club he will act more professionally. That doesn't mean he won't always want to be as ambitious as he is now, but to get there he will know to have his head screwed on.Agreed, hence the naive comment. He is a young lad with loads of potential. But still a young lad, playing his second professional season. I will give him a chance to get his attitude sorted now he is at a big club. I will not write him off as quickly as it seems you are mate. We'll see mate. Tbh I already expect him to throw a tempter tantrum next year; Weiller is an extremely strict (but good) trainer. When he arrived at RSCA, he got rid of heaps of players because of bad attitude. The same this year; with his C squad you can fill an entire team; some of them are very talented players that reached the final in the Youth CL; have beaten the Barca youth teams etc.
I think players like him simply will always find an option/occasion to leave (no issue about that if they keep doing their job), if they think (sometimes deluded) they are good enough mate. Chelsea players want to go to Real Madrid etc... . Even though nothing is wrong; you have people like that. They are happy but they think they can become extra happy by doing something else. The grass is always greener on the other side type of people.
Yeah, of course. But tbh Real Madrid and Barcelona are probably the ultimate dream of any professional footballer in the world. No matter what club you're playing for. No matter of you're called Man United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG or Everton, if one of these two comes along, I can't think of a single player that would say no. So compared to them I guess every club is considered a stepping stone. We'll see mate. Tbh I already expect him to throw a tempter tantrum next year; Weiller is an extremely strict (but good) trainer. @nsno-chris as chief snake hunter, I feel your comments on this would be snake would be valid ?
Thomas Gravesen for example.Yeah, of course. But tbh Real Madrid and Barcelona are probably the ultimate dream of any professional footballer in the world. No matter what club you're playing for. I agree with those comments.
A hisssssing snake he could well be, he's shed one skin and looks happy in a new one.
His tongue could well be forked
