Arsenal striker thierry henry says the exit of vice-prtesident david dein and doubts over boss arsene wenger's future were behind his decision to leave.

henry, who is set to join barcelona, told the sun: "arsene has been a part of my life for as long as i can remember. at this moment he will not commit to the club past the expiration of his current deal, which finishes at the end of the coming season. i cannot take the chance to be there without arsene wenger and david dein."

it will be very interesting to see if wenger sees out this last 12 months and where he goes from then, because i now cant see him staying at arsenal.
