never too late to get out....
Enjoy
POP?

I really would love to find the source and growth of the POP trend here lol

And, hell no, but to each their own ... kind of.

Welcome to GOT. We haven't nearly the decorum of your average subreddit, but glad/suprised you found us late. If you had to put one former/current Toffee in a jelly, who would it be?

In ... in a jelly? Like ... like ... grind them up, add sugar, and stir?

It's tricky. While he's destroying our country, he's waking up Americans out of their apathetic slumber.

I'm a centrist kind of a guy. When there's a period of terrible times, I believe we can expect a snap back to amazing times and I think newly "woke" Americans will get us there.
Amen bro Amen
The backlash is going to be amazeballs.
If we survive Armageddon

Towards what, though?
When do / did we peak?

And that's exactly why the unknown is so scary to those who don't like change :D

I don't think we've peaked especially since, just in the last 40 years, we've had the greatest technological advancements that have propelled our species in ways never imagined since the industrial revolution. I don't think people realize how insane our reality is atm. Jets flying at multiple speeds of sound, medical advancements beyond imagination, and regular people carrying around libraries full of knowledge with instant access at their every whim.

We're told how important history is because we need to learn the lessons of the past, but I would argue there's a discussion to be had of how irrelevant even some recent history may be. What we were as people during WW1 and what we are as people now are so fundamentally different through our technological advancements. Now don't take me wrong, I'm not saying history is fully irrelevant, but there is an amount that is which would surprise most people if they ever sat down and thought about it.

I don't think we're near that peak yet in our lifetimes. Think of even the immediate future to come! The present times of spreading internet access across the world, even wireless internet.

I mean, remember even the early 90s? Imagine having a conversation with one of your friends in school about the future. If one of them had said to me, imagine smartphones as we know them today .... I would've called that kid crazy. It took 30 years. Hell, we had regular cell phones in the early 00s and I probably still would've thought this kind of tech being worldwide was 50-75 years away and it took less than 10. Even PDAs not connected to the internet that were mostly tech'd up schedule books/calculators were selling for $600+.

I still think we're on the exponential upswing with tech. VR, AR, new wearables that beat the standard and ease of the cell phone (a better google glass for example), etc. I mean, we currently have FaceTime doctor's appointments through hospital's phone apps! How far away am I from, let's say, needing a counselor and looking in some global database, finding the price and quality reviews I want, and FaceTiming my sessions with some Australian dude in Sydney? We are in the era of Uber/Lyft and I think those tech ideas are about to multiply to so many different industries and change how we look at all kinds of services.

Oh yeah, btw I ramble a lot sometimes on stuff that really interests me :P

Hey everyone, I've been hanging out on /r/Everton over on Reddit for awhile now and am even in the Discord. I just found out about these forums, I don't know I never looked for forums in the past.

On the side, my NFL team is the Indianapolis Colts, NBA is Indiana Pacers, MLS is LA Galaxy until somehow, someway, my local club, Indy 11 (NASL), makes it up to MLS.

Welcome to the forum mate.
