I'm looking forward to hearing the British accents while we are there and trying to figure out what y'all are saying with your different words/terms. Luckily, I have been to England once before. ;) I'm sure we will get some looks/laughs with our accents but my Southern accent isn't too bad...I'm a hi-tech (educated) redneck. lol

Hard to say who my favorite player is. Right now I like Niasse the best. He is a proper lad and footballer. I also like Glyfi, Jags, Mirallas and Seamus...I use to be a defender and my son is a defender so I'm partial to them.

I met my lovely wife at a frat party at the University of Georgia back in our college days. ☺️

There is the Yankee spelling of "favorite", though that could simply be spell check which the prevalent grammatical mistakes and lack of spelling mistakes(besides using "off" for "of") would seem to suggest.

All that to say it could be an American.
