Hi Evertonians!
My name is Maciek and I'm 18. I'll try to give you a few information about me by answering the questions.

Where about are you from?
As in the title I'm from Poland, living in city called Chełm near the Ukrainian border.

How did you find these forums?
It's the biggest Everton forum so it's not easy to miss! :)

How did you become an Evertonian?
It's been a few years and I'm unsure what was the main reason but probably being sick looking at friends supporting just the biggest clubs and not even knowing what was is the next match of 'their favorite' club. Everton impressed me as a club being built almost without money for big transfers and still be able to compete with the top from BPL. Since 4 or 5 years I'm watching everty game of Everton in TV and once we also made a trip to Chelsea clash in 2011 (great Beckford goal and 1-0 win b)) and we are very likely to visit Goodison Park more often.

Your all-time favourite Everton player?
Cahill was great at the time I started supporting Everton and I still got sentiment to him :D

Your current favourite player?
Howard, Distin, Coleman, etc. whole current crew is great :P

Pineapple on Pizza, Is it socially acceptable? What are your views?
For me it is tasty, but what will suprise you is how we eat pizza in Poland. All foreigners that have eaten pizza with me during their visit in Chełm were shocked that we use sauce on our pizzas (ketchup or garlic dip)
Your thoughts about it? Is it socially acceptable in UK? :D

Get a lot of that here in America too. Wear the shirt but couldn't name the starting eleven of their "favorite" club.

Welcome to GOT.

Hello Maciek, welcome to Toffeeweb. My late father was Polish. As a boy in World War II he saw his father shot by the Russians who then took him to a work camp in Siberia. He escaped & joined the British army in Persia (now Iran). When the war ended he chose to come to the UK rather than return to Poland under Russian control. Dad was an Arsenal fan but then no-one is perfect!

I have family in Biala Podlaska which is about 125km north of you & visit once or twice a year. You live in a lovely part of Poland, the lakes & forests are beautiful & the trout fishing is amongst the best I have ever enjoyed.

A bit off topic but have you ever read 'The Long Walk'' or the film of the book ''The Way Back''? An amazing story of how a handful of poles and others escape from siberia and walk to india.

Welcome mate, used to date a polish lass, she was nuts like, then again i married a russian, singlehandedly been trying to mend the cold war divide like
