Adam Johnson is a very good player, could well become a great one if 1) he keeps his head together and 2) Mancini actually plays him. I don't think City will be selling him anytime soon though. You can always have Bridge, SWP, Santa Cruz or Adebayor as they are deemed surplus to requirements by Mancini.
What is it with Everton and slow starts to the season btw, can't work it out, you have some great players who would walk into any so-called top 4 team like Howard, Jagielka, felliani and especially Cahill?? (sz about the spelling).

It doesnt surprise me, like I said most are tossers and if they are shown their own arse they throw the toys out. I don't want to advertise another forum (that I post on), but at least you are given your say and in the main respected for your opinion.
I have to admit that although the football is a touch negative it is producing results and after years and years of [Poor language removed], I would be a bit arrogant to suggest I want more. Mancini is proving to be very likeable, he certainly doesn't take any crap, re, getting rid of Bellamy, Ireland, Robinho and Onuoha who all spoke out about him. It will be interesting how he deals with Tevez, something tells me, he will still pick him and make him play. I don't know if thats good or bad for your lot come Monday, only time will tell.
That said, he has also bought well (although when you have got a squillion quid to spend, he bloody well should do). Compare the buys he has made to Hughes' buys and he comes out on top in most City fans eyes. Btw Lescott hasn't been that bad for us and £24 milllion quid was a bloody lot of money, imo we bought the wrong centre back from you. I think Jagielka is brilliant and would love to see him at City. I know he wont be coming, so please no-one think I am saying it to wind you up lol

It's a results business mate, so good on him. He could go down the path of Newcastle in the nineties who bought all these flamboyant players and you always got the impression they played to the media a bit too much rather than being ruthless and clawing out results. With all the media circus hanging around you and inevitable egotistical players you'll get, you need a strong consistent man overlooking it all. Time will tell but like I said, he seems a nice bloke.
I was gutted when Lescott left, although Distin has been very good this season he's no Lescott when on top form. I fancy Lescott to move onto another decent club and do well still though, but paying that much for him was ridiculous. Jagielka would have been a better bet, but even he's not all that this season.
At least you're seemingly moving in the right direction, by stark contrast to us it seems.

Tim Cahill has scored a few at City, the one I remember most was when he got sent off for lifting his shirt after you won 1-0
Don't wanna sound thick but who is the gargoyl, is it Lescott? I do think that Felliani is a top player and won the midfield battle twice last season.
One thing Mancini doesnt do is play to the media (thank God) and your right, it is all about results and so far so good, but after years of supporting City I aint counting any chickens. Some City fans have turned into rags in the way they go on about the money, anyone would think it is actually their own. If it''s any consolation they get on my tits as much as they do other footy fans.
