I think you're right Coyney, we do seem to have a very individual culture here, hence why we're good at producing players like Gerrard and Rooney but not so good at producing Scholes type players. Go to Spain and they have Arteta style players coming out of their ears.

It never fails to baffle me really. I can accept that some people won't have the natural technical ability of a Bergkamp or someone but surely being able to pass five yards and then move into space for a return pass is down to basic teaching?

The Dutch are very good at this. But in the UK the most important asset is pace.

We play brilliantly against top sides, but we [Poor language removed] play like disgusting [Poor language removed] against disgusting [Poor language removed]. Our midfield cant one touch pass or play in good balls, our defense, in theory, is solid and our attack has been a disgrace to say the least. I didnt even see the game but it sounds like we made an awful fool of ourselves.

we went in there expecting an easy result so we did not get it. If we played against them how we played Man Ure we would have won by 3 at least.

This not passing thing as a kid is so true. I used to dribble past everyone in school, because I was confident to do it. Never passed to anyone. That was 20 years ago.

My 6 year old nephew is a goalie and there is a kid on his team that never passes either.

Big problems.
