Yep, it's been a horrible one hasn't it? Still, as we watch Leicester have their party this afternoon, maybe we should think about a couple of high points at least this season, and imagine what could have been? Not withstanding the hopefully inevitable sacking of Roberto, of course.

All of those options remind me of false dawn hopes:

- Del playing so well we were all panicking Barca were gonna nick him back with that wicked clause.
- Naismith's killer finishes vs Chelsea looked like he was gonna figure as a foil for Rom and we were gonna win games against the big boys.
- getting 8m for Naismith seemed like good business...until we spunked almost twice that on an unfit joker from some little league.
- Kone's hat-trick looked like he was gonna figure as a foil for Rom and were bound to score loads against the smaller boys.

Haha! Just added mate- how careless of me! Feel the same as you really. Some great moments tinged with regret that we never kicked on. Thought we were going to have one hell of a season after the Southampton game!

Don't know how anyone can say getting Naismith for £8m was a highlight. Spunked it (and then some) on Niasse and weakened the team as a result.
