Has anyone ever had toast , but with the bread just toasted on one side? I vividly remember as a kid going to a friend's house and his mum giving me that and me trying not to vomit. Absolutely disgusting

My dad always had his bread toasted on one side; actually forgot about that. Weird git, no wonder my mum beat him to death with a steam iron.

That's where the thread falls down for me. Both biscuits have their merits but agree a hobnob survives a brew for longer.

This is a key selling point for the digestive.

Can't be doing with that waiting. I want one dunk per side, two dunks if you're a gambler, the chocolate melts and you have a nice tea infused biscuit.

Then you scoff the entire pack in about 10 minutes and lie about it later.

I'll raise you on on that. My ma developed a habit of doing it with a cheese spread on the toast and I was ringing child services begging them to take me out of the house.

He sounds like a meff but he’s going wrong on the coffee, need a strong cup of tea, heavily buttered toast (white only) dunked in, the last sip / crust gulp isn’t for the faint hearted.
