I'm going to Malia for 2 weeks with 4 other lad's.

2 weeks of binge drinking, boom.

I've got two weeks off in mid April and will be braving the British weather and spending the time at a campsite near Builth Wells. Great place for walking the dogs and simple peace and quiet. Nice local pub, great bacon and free range eggs.
Camping isn't to everyone's taste but I really enjoy my time in the great outdoors. Nice walks, great pubs and dark skies at night, no light pollution, the stars are amazing. The bird life is something else - Red Kites, Lapwings, Buzzards and in the summer months, nesting swallows.
I love it!

Abroad? well, I love Menorca and I rather like Corsica too.

do you remember the old Crosville Tea Rooms at Loggerheads? The F11 bus went there all the way from Woodside. Long time ago like but I can just about remember it.

Marsh Lane Rhuddlan is a bit of a dive isn't it?

Not as i recall, it's a short country lane with one or two very [Poor language removed] holiday camps on it.

Is Douglas Castle ( i think ) still standing ? I lost my cherry up there one dark summer night to a girl from Rhuddlan.I went to Barry Island too, jesus, that place was bleak :(

I used to go camping out near Beddgelert. Loved that place. Walked my butt up Snowdon several times (and not the easy way either).

Me and my step-dad were quite the hikers!

I've stayed at the Forestry place at Beddgelert but the midges were a real pain so only stayed there once. The walks from the site were good and the view of Snowdon were pretty spectacular too.
Any other campers around here?
I mean camping as in the great outdoors rather than the other sort!

Used to go caravaning everywhere, loved the Lleyn, Conniston and Llangollen. We used to have good weekends at the Plasey(y)
