what about the proper full english breakfast?

even the rain.

maybe its not much, but roots are roots.

Plenty of boss British pubs abroad, with super ace breakfasts too.

You'll always miss your family & mates though.

Saying that, the cold rain is nasty.

Spains gone [Poor language removed] since the Euro came in.

Nah, its still top. When it was the peseta (bad spelling) it was stupid cheap. Its still OKish, but the food, the people, the wine, the art.

Its got loads and you find that the longer you've been knocking back the wine in the bodegas, the more you can actually speak spanish.

What's the good word on Cuba. I fancy a visit.

Seriously, I'm a simple man. I've only ever needed an unlimited supply of alcohol, ciggs, good food, good women, good weather and everton winning football games to be happy.

And a little slice of culture, art and literature on the side, by way of a side dish to the main feast.

It does have that in abundance, the food takes some getting used to but the people are amazing.

But its mad, you dont realise how westernised you are until youve been took out of that for a prolonged period. Still, there plenty of things to admire about there, like the lack of commercialisation.

whats the flight situation. As in the cheapest way. I imagine direct flights are problematic. Via Spain or Mexico?

Nothing poisonous there at all.

The scorpions sting, thats what they do, but its doubtful you'd ever see one.

Havent seen a snake in the wild on my travels there. They are about, in isolated parts like the obscure Cayos.
