Honduras @ United States Friendly 1/23

Of the 18K+ at the stadium tonight, more than 15K were there for Honduras. We felt like away supporters. No special love for Bornstein from the crowd.

That said, I missed our Europe-based boys.

Just another exercise for Bradley to see what he's got available to him.

Good to see my local boys Davis & Cameron get some time on the field.

Really the only player last night that has any hope of starting for a full strength squad is Bornstein, and that's only because of the dearth of talent at left back. Still, he was probably the best player on the pitch for them.

Not sure what Conrad was thinking, but he can pretty much forget about going to SA, his slim chance shrunk to none last night. I will say that I can't believe the ref took him off, it's a friendly. Not that he didn't deserve it, just didn't seem to fit with the spirit of the match. Oh well, he can have no complaints.

Tough to really take anything from this game.

The squad was polluted with MLS players who haven't played in months so its hard to take anything from it. Bornstein will probably go and maybe Casey given the lack of talent/injuries at their positions.
