And on the subject of horne, he is working as a teacher right now...

I thought he was a proffesional football media/coaching type.

Ghost - I remember at the time we signed him "Everyone" was saying how he was going to be the right winger, taking on players, threading passes, whipping crosses in etc. It certainly seemed like he would be the new andrei at the time.
 
The names Davies and Kanchelskis should never be mentioned in the same sentence ....... worlds apart when talking about their footballing ability !

As it turned out yes, but at the time people thought we were getting a great player.

I would never call Davies a pudding, it never worked for him a GP but he always tried his heart out. What I've seen of him at Fulham he is now their play maker, a position he never made with us, he played best at RB ffs. That said he was a squad player at Spurs, I wish him well(y)

I thought that mainly down to injury and then not being liked by Jol?

Anyway, when he was on the pitch next to cahill and arteta, it made him look worse because he was playing next to two of the best midfielders in Europe.
