Horse Racing

….ante-post Cheltenham Yankee for July;

Dysart Dynamo 25-1 (Ballymore)
State Man 33-1 (Supreme)
Galopin des Champs (Festival Novice Chase) 8-1
Capadanno (National Hunt Chase) 20-1

Capadanno is a horse I highlighted for @Toast, it never fulfilled novice hurdle potential for Cheltenham but won a handicap in impressive style at Punchestown. It’s definitely one to watch over a fence.

These are all trained by Willie Mullins & put up on the site I frequent but it’s very speculative. The prices are with Betfair, who do allow cash-out which is the way to go at this stage.

…cashed this in for a pleasant profit. Dysart Dynamo now a best price 6-1 Bally; State Man 16-1 Sup, Capadanno as low as 9/2 NHC and GDC is 2-1 fav for the Festival Nov Chase.

Looks terrific for anybody that did it but there’s enough doubts about targets that persuaded me to take the tasty profit. I wouldn’t suggest others do the same as it’s a terrific looking bet at this stage but wanted to let you know my position.

Tip for tomorrow ( not mine and not backing it myself)

3.25 Lingfield - King of the South 4-1

My dads pal was talking to trainer n said “ I expect it to run a big race”

I’m sticking with Dublin

Facile Vega - 4.25 tomorrow 4/5
Galopin Des Champs - 1.20 Sunday 4/7
Sir Gerhard - 3.35 Sunday 11/8
( not tips just what I’m doing)

Great meeting that my mates went pre pandemic .some great horses in action

….Leopardstown is one of the best courses I’ve been to. Been a few times, took the whole family over to Dublin not too long ago & booked the meal/lounge overlooking the paddock which is great value. Highly recommended.
Vauban just had a convincing win Eggs. One you tipped for Cheltenham a while back.

….yep, gave it on here at 25-1. It’s now a best price 11/4. After I put it up, one of our posters had a very big each-way wager on it (which made me a bit anxious) but he’s sitting on a very nice bet now.

….few promising words coming out Mullins stable for a horse called Facile Vega. I wouldn’t go mad as it's unraced & pure speculation but 25-1 with PP in Champion Bumper might be worth £1 each way before it sees a racecourse.

….posted this before it had seen a racecourse in November & it’s now odds-on favourite for the Champion Bumper after hosing up today at Leopardstown. Another 25-1 shout looking excellent if it turns up fit and healthy next month.

Lucky day for me today, Everton won and for the first in a while regarding Saturday racing; 3 winners in a patent with a an each way treble chucked in as well.

Kids are ordering takeaways on me, I’m drinking rum.

….Enjoy Dallen run a fine race over hurdles in the big handicap hurdle at Leopardstown. Much better over fences, got him in my Grand National portfolio this morning at 40-1 (still available). Could be an interesting one for Aintree.
Can you get NRNB on the National Eggs?? Doesn't seem to say on Bet365 or skybet...
