Horse Racing

What are you saying then?

Look at the mistake it made in slow motion again . It done everything bar completely fall

I've seen the replay. It's a very bad mistake. But the horse seems to continue and wouldn't be that much behind the eventual second place. I don't know how bad the horse was, only jockey knows that and it possibly was the right decision but who knows. However, you cannot say that it doesn't seem even slightly suspicious when that would have cost the bookies an absolute fortune.

No..I don't think it looks suspicious at all. The horse made a terrible mistake and the jockey pulled it up as he would have no idea how serious it could be . He made the right decision
The horse will have other days hopefully. This is like the Annie power conspiracy again .

Like I said mate it probably was the right decision but no one really knows. When there is huge amount of money in things especially sport there will always be dodgy stuff going on behind the scenes. That's the sad truth of it.

….Jasmin de Vaux could be one to watch on Sunday, currently 33-1 for Champion Bumper.

….the first one I posted for the bumper in January before he had seen a racecourse. I already had him in my book at 50-1 but topped up with plenty of 33s, hopefully a few got on.

Terrific day today, back to normal big antepost returns on Ballyburn, Jasmin and Fact to File. Even the Champion Chase worked well, El Fabiola was always too short for my book so I backed Captain Guinness e/w 33-1 and Gentleman de Mee e/w 33-1, they finished 1st and 2nd.

Folk I know reckoned Langer Dan was a plot job, I wasn’t heavily involved but had a free £5 on at 8-1 this morning as well as a few quid at 10-1 a few days ago. Handicaps are so tough, managed 100-1 (Franciscan Rock) and 66-1 (Gerimande) placed.

It’s always a bit of fun to me, I love this week.

….really interesting race tomorrow is Mares Novice Hurdle. Folk probably won’t have a bet because there’s 2 short priced ones heading the market. Gordon Elliott thinks Brighterdaysahead is a superstar and Mullins thinks the same about Jade de Grugy. Head to head.

The first multiples I had 12 months ago involved BDA at 20-1. I heard about JDG on 20th Dec and literally had a few quid on her at 50-1, she’s now 2-1.

I’d be very disappointed if one of them doesn’t win. BDA is best for my book, except I have this nagging little double;

Jade de Grugy 50-1 with Kargese 25-1 (Triumph Hurdle on Friday). The stupid thing is, it’s win only. Kargese is now 8-1, but has a real chance. If Jade wins, the cash-out offer will be interesting.

Interesting race for me, thought I’d share.

Animal welfare has to be priority otherwise racing is gone as a sport. The jockey wouldn’t know how bad it is, but why risk something to try and finish in the hope of place money when you can wrap him up and turn him back out quickly (all being well).

I saw a Mullins interview the other day and he talked about JDG when going through his runners. He basically said she is good but it’s going to be really hard. That didn’t inspire confidence for me in beating BDA.
