...i’ve had a brilliant Cheltenham followed by an ok Aintree. I did put Mohaayed up on here @ 33-1 in February for the County Hurdle a month before it won. I doubled it with Rathvinden @ 20-1 and got £1,520 back for a £2 ew double. I backed them both on their own. I won over £2.5k over 4 days and all to £2 units.

..it’s my bit of entertainment, John, but i’ve never been drawn into it to put big bucks on any horse. Backing short priced favourites with large stakes is a sure route to the poor house. Small stakes to big prices is the way to go for me, and I’m a social gambler in that I only bet on races i’m out watching with my pals in the pub.
