Btw, I blagged not doing dishes (because of the finger incident) until well into January. Told her I couldn't because the detergent would irritate my poor healing digit. All was well until she came home and collared me washing my tiling gear in the kitchen sink 😂
Same happened to my mate.

His dog's anal glands had become engorged and they needed to be expressed.
The vet was going to charge him a whopping fee to do it, so being the cheap knob that we was, he took the dog home and decided to do it DIY style.

'There must be YouTube tutorial video on how to do it somewhere?!' He exclaimed... And sure enough, there was one.

He then spat on his index finger and proceeded to initiate the daunting task that now lay in front of him.

He must have hit a nerve or something, because that canine turned around faster than you can say 'sweet puppy love!' and took a huge bite out of the tip of his finger.

I know there's a lesson in that story somewhere... I'll leave you all to decipher your own meanings.

What's the division labour like in your home? I end up doing 70% of the housework. The other half pits more time and effort into her work and I am more likely to moan about mess. It's a fair arrangement.

So how about you, dear GOT friends? Are you a king or queen of clean? Or re you one bad meff dwelling in a sty hoping someone else tidies up?

Please vote in the poll against one of the commonly user GOT tropes.
Think I do 95%. We both have busy jobs but she has an auto immune condition which provokes fatigue. Being a Knight in Shining Armour...

We share it but she has this blue job thing that means anything that requires actually making an impact I have to do. When she "cleans" the place is a tip afterwards. "Look at all that dust under the rug" yeah well if you stopped lifting it while you clean it wouldn't get any dust under it, it's a rug it's meant to stay where it is just hoover it. Weirdo.

She ironed the bedsheets once not long after we moved in together. Let's just say she didn't do it again.
