How can this club be saved?

Sign a couple of players who can run fast and kick the ball to a team mate or into the goal.

Find a manager who knows how to use said players.

Stay up with games to spare and rebuild the squad in the summer.

How come people at the club never taught of that?

I honestly don't know anymore. Short-term, sack the manager and get someone upfront who knows where the net is. Long-term its difficult to say after decades of failure under the previous administrations dragging us down. Its all well and good talking about fresh starts but the stench of failure hangs over this club. A couple of years ago I felt the situation was more fixable and that's why I massively supported and participated in the protests but they got shut down and we just lumbered on to where we are now. It might be to late to just "fix" the club without a hard reset that takes years and years to truly be effective.

We're actually safe right now.

The question should be "How do we remain safe?".

The answer to that is for new owners with cash to hand it to the manager who's kept us safe for the last two seasons to spend on better players.

It's that simple.

I struggle to see a path out of this mess, the club are in. New stadium and new ownership should be more than enough for us to be optimistic, but the squad and management is so poor, that i have no words to describe how poor it is.

So blues.. What needs to happend?
One day at a time. One decision at a time. It starts with

1. Identifying first team priority needs
2. Spending money where PSR allows this month - this month needs to be busy
3. Identifying whether the correct DoF and manager are in charge (I think we know the answer to the latter one) and replacing immediately (if possible)

It can be a little overwhelming if you think of the size of the task overall, but short term goal now is to avoid relegation (this was not my view a few months ago - it is now)

The big issue is we’re no longer a big club, only we think we are.
The likes of Bournemouth, forest, palace, Brighton all have wealthy, organised owners and new grounds either built or in development. They also have better squads and scouting set ups it seems. Add to this the now established big 6/7/8 (was 4 when we were a big club) and we are just also-rans. Even with the forecast investment we are still miles behind.
We had our chance when mosh came in and blew it in a big way, and I cannot see how we turn this into being a top tier club as our new owners are not HUGE investors.

What so he can buy more Burnley players - or ex players.

Ben Mee and Ashley Barnes would be next in the door. FFS

Southampton were safe 19 games ago... we have 19 to go anything can happen between now and then. The worst thing we can do is hope there are 3 worst teams than us or Dyche can turn this mess round.

They have. It just comes with the trappings of...we can't pay you a transfer fee now, maybe only a little bit, and we need to make sales profit each year, or fancy a loan?
