How many players does the new manager need?

Four at least and they can't all be prospects

It's good this change has been made now even if it's bizarre hours before a game. Hopefully an appointment sometime next week and then a few weeks to assess the squad and add signings rather than a mass panic of everything happening in the last few days.

This happened in the 2023 window with Lampard sacked in the last week and then Dyche came in and didn't have a chance to make any signings so at least that will not be repeated.

After the welcome news that the greedy coward has been binned, I would like to ask his advocates how many players he needed (if any) to avoid relegation?

This will serve as a nice vaultable thread if hardly any new players do come in and a manager that has some actual attacking coaching might yield different results in at least trying to score goals…

The floor is yours
11 to start, think it's 7 on the bench

Should just about do it

Goal for this season has to be getting up to 14th or 15th with a bit of breathing space from the bottom 3. Probably need immediate improvement in 2 or 3 positions to achieve that.

Next seasons aim should be mid table which would need another 3 or 4 new players in the summer.

2. A fullback and a winger.

Anything else is gravy. We have good CBs, our midfield is solid, we all know we dont have a striker but I feel New RB, Young moving to LB, and a good winger to pair with Ndiaye changes a lot for us.
