How much, is too much...

... for 600g of biscuits?

What is the maximum you'd pay?

Now, I'm someone who buys the home brand stuff of chocolate digestives over McVities.

Bourbons, Custard Cremes... Penguins. Anything over £1 for biscuits and I'm raising an eyebrow Carlo Ancelotti would struggle to replicate.

But at Christmas, I was gifted a tin.

"Toffolossus Biscuits"

They looked a bit exotic, I figured they'd be fragrant, not for me and never bothered with them.

Eventually, I tried one.

Sweet lord.

They're the last biscuit on death row style biscuit.

I went to bulk buy them, then I twigged the cost.

£19.95;

For 600g of biscuits.

That's a hell of a lot isn't it?

For 2 weeks I've gone through 7 stages of grief in agonizing whether to buy them.

You can get a top up 600g for £15.95, but that's still staggering.

For biscuits.

I have a mortgage ffs, I can't go paying £15.95+ delivery for 600g of biscuit.

Can I?

So thoughts, dear readers.

How much, is too much for 600g of biscuits?
I say go for it. Treat yourself once in a while. If you enjoy it, then you enjoy it.

I have bought Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee a few times in my life, because i really like it and its a treat. It comes in around $136/kg but for a once in a while thing, its worth it!
