How stupid are Manu?

We will never, ever progress as a football club or team with Evans, Jones and Smalling as our central defenders. They are too injury prone and NOT good enough for the 'supposed biggest club in the world'.

Would David Moyes manage at Real Madrid, Barca or Bayern? Hell no, then why was he deemed good enough for us?

If we're one of the biggest clubs in the world, then we need to start acting like it. Those 3 clubs throw money around and most people drool at the players they bring in so let's follow suit and SPEND SPEND SPEND in January! I want 2 new centre backs please.

Going to cost you, again, to get the quality you need.

Don't bother me mate, it's not my money. And Real Madrid spunk silly money every year and no-one cares, time we started doing the same - we're going to be making more cash than they are when Adidas deal kicks in.

Daft thing is, Lescott could have done a job for you till January. The City link notwith standing.

He could have mate - funnily enough, I was saying to someone last night that I was surprised you lot didn't go in for him. Decent-ish defender, better than Distin and all of our CBs!

Bit of bad blood. But that aside, yeah he would have been sound. Thing is, it wasnt till we started the season that we had problems at the back, if that makes sense. Like they were ace last year, and nothing had changed in the summer.

The problem with united from my perspective is that Van Gaal is going to hang onto his hope that this 3 at the back will work. the fact that he is happy to throw blackett into the team despite not really featuring before just to avoid switching the tactics shows that.

If it works then attack wise United will walk the league. If it fails then i cant really see Gaal getting another 100 million to spend next summer. It would take a top 4 finish AT LEAST just to justify the money spent out.

And not to mention the FFP rulings have you 50 million down already next year

Find it hard to tell how good Jones/Smalling would be as a CB partnership tbh - on the rare occasions they are both fit, one of them is playing RB to cover for Rafael.

Think there is potential in Jones as least if he would stop throwing himself into reckless tackles that end up him injuring himself, an opponent or a teamate. Barca have got an injury prone Vermaelan and smoker Mathieu as their reserve CBs so even some of the top clubs are not blessed with fantastic depth in the position.

Hey mate, raise a few questions there, guess you should ask SAF, he should know the answers.

As for CBs keep away from Stones.

"It’s not just players streaming out of United, mind, with Wolfsburg’s Swiss defender Ricardo Rodriguez apparently keen to compete with Marcus Rojo for the ropiest trendy haircut in the United back line. He’ll cost a pretty penny, with current club Wolfsburg said to be insisting on a fee of something like €30million, which would make this one unlikely as United have displayed in recent months that they simply will not overpay for players out of desperation to boost their quality-deficient ranks."

Very good player as we saw when they visited us but would seem slighly odd for them to sign him given how much they have already spent on Shaw and have a promising youngster in Reece James. Also Rojo and Blind can both play there if needed. Surely they need to buy a decent, injury free RB first?

If true, LVG seems to be intent on buying only left footed players!

You forgot to put in your obligatory "no offence" when insinuating that being a former manager of our great club is no qualification for managing the club which you "suppose" is the "biggest club in the world".

This is an Everton board and you ought to remember that before you come around here condescending, sir.

I am betting you are regarded as a bit of a clown on those United boards which haven't yet banned you.
