G20 police face new probe after video of woman being hit emerges | News | The First Post

How long before the likes of bin laden realise that going after the average public does not make sympathisers to the cause, but sending a divine wind into a pack of police, well, that could be looked upon favourably.

and this was a good day...

17 april 2009, police marksman Gary toms had his life support mchine turned off. no machine for jean charles though was there.

"Swelter'd venom sleeping got"

And if he had been a 16 year old girl in britain she could have been mowed down for fun, at the expense of only three years. anyone for a game of death race 2000?

PC John Dougal jailed for killing girl hit by speeding patrol car - Times Online

which individual on this board defended the police when I floated the idea that they are in fact parasites? who was it? anyone refresh my memory?

If I was here, they'd have been joined by me, Suits.

The Police are just people, and like every walk of life, you get good ones and you get knob jockeys, not much you can do about it sadly - but there it is.

It's a shame, but those officer's who also happen to be in the knob jockey area of the Venn diagram have more opportunities to be knob jockey's than the rest of us, which rather spoils thing for the general population and the majority of coppers that don't happen to be knob jockeys.

But hey, why be reasonable, when you can make generalisations and wish people dead, after all, what else is the internet for?

Your wasting your time. The man is clearly warped.

But the thread he means is this one - I think.

Any more generalising abuse Suits and I'll wield the ban hammer.

Oh, and as heat mentioned - it was a joke - not a reason to vent any vile towards the Police.

What are the 'good ones' doing about the 'knob jockeys'? how many fellow officers watched the assault that cost a mans life and did nothing about his attacker? same goes for the individual that twice cracked that woman, he was surrounded by other officers, none of which arrested him, or even spoke up to try and calm him down from his violent rage.

as for the apathy of 'not much you can do about it' - its that exact attitude that allows the 'knob jockeys' the freedom to flaunt the law they supposedly enforce and cock two fingers at whoever they decide to trample all over that day.

(ps. no 'wishes' so far - but why be technically correct and use facts when its easier to post untruths. after all, what else is the internet for!)

What do you actually do about the "knob jockeys" other than ranting on here about them?

Are you out there trying to make a difference, trying to change things for the better away from your computer?

Or do you suffer from apathy as well?

Given that the police are effectively a cross-section of society, the police service will always remain prone to containing negative characteristics, or as you put it, have 'knob jockeys', as gordon rightly said.

I remember seeing the police at reading '79 - they weren't very impressive, in fact they probably were three ... knob-jockeys
