Are people worried he’ll go back to Newcastle? He wanted the Everton job because its a short drive for him, only team he’ll jump ship for atm are probably the RS. Never underestimate the ability of our fans to make up a scenario.

How would I feel? I'd be conflicted for a number of reasons:

1. Newcastle would immediately prove they are a "bigger" club than Everton - and that would be on Moshiri. Given the financial constraints that the PL will ensure stymie any quick Newcastle revolution, a fully-committed and useful Moshiri will have enough financial firepower to ensure Benitez can compete. If the Senor walked out, it would tell you that Moshiri is a fraud.
2. I'd laugh at those who desperately wanted Benitez out when Sean Dyche is appointed as his replacement.
3. I'd sit back and enjoy the fume of other clubs' fans: while the Saudis are a level of despot far more evil than any Glazer, Abramovich, or Kroenke, the very fact that the United Kingdom does copious business with these people makes it very difficult indeed to criticise celebrating Newcastle fans that much - unless you also condemn the ties that the UK has with Saudi Arabia.
4. I'd congratulate Newcastle on their acquisition of Senor Benitez for fear of ending up in a suitcase.
5. I'd avoid Turkish embassies - particularly after this post.
