Considering we had a world class manager who cannot be questioned who’s won 4 CL and blah blah.
A chairman willing to put in millions and a secret backer who’s dead rich blah blah
James world class blah blah
It was Shoite.
Squad hasnt progressed in 2 seasons, only points and position in the league matter.

3.

Half decent start, then pretty much downhill from there.

Carlo needs another summer transfer window, I know some people want Carlo to go now but they may get their wish by October if we don't start as well as we did this season - and round and round we go again.

About a 3/4 for me, some good wins, some very bad defeats, a total failure for me missing europa at worst from were we was about 6 weeks ago, so many missed chances to do it

Based on where we were last year? 6 out of 10.

Massively disappointing because of the start we had, and how well we played against the top sides. Negatives are all the dropped points against teams we should have beaten and lack of confidence and aggressive play in the last half of the season. Huge opportunity for Champions league, much less Europa, that we missed out on.

Positives are we showed we can beat just about every team in the league on our day, and this was our best season against top teams in a long time. Also, this is the most points we have had in 4 seasons. Plus, the players we brought in have been great, with the biggest issue we have faced is those players simply being injured and unavailable.

A 5.

We finally beat Liverpool at Anfield even though there were no supporters there. That was literally the last decent match (maybe spurs in FA Cup but we leaked lots of goals).

Otherwise I'd probably give it a 3 - 10th place finish when we really were gunning for 6th, and no reason not to get it, we wasted a ton of chances on terrible teams.

I voted 2.

After the beginning of the season, dreaming of the unimaginable and the season ended on a whimper 2 months ago in all honesty, we have been going through the motions since then and the results have shown.

Heads dropped and looking at the table now, 3 more wins would have got us CL football, so that is why i voted TWO.

A 6 for me. Brilliant start, only for it to get rusty, pick up again and then end on a low note with a poor run in of form to end.

Oh well, that’s another season over.

Gone for a 3.

For the most part it's been a horrible season. For me the highlights were the results against the RS, Arsenal and Spurs, but my proudest moment was our club's very swift and public announcement against the Scab 6 and their Super League.

Other than that....just the same old garbage.

4 out of 10. After Boxing day, with the doors of opportunity open as wide as they have been for some time, the inability to string some performances together or apply themselves properly against the "lower" teams undermined everything this group had really achieved by this point. And by the end, if the Premier League was a fight Everton would have been stopped on cuts. We were reeling and only heading one way.

This group largely proved incapable of playing the calibre of football Ancelotti would require to be successful, and there was a final kick in the gonads when the committed South American marquee signing was taking selfies on his jet whilst his team mates were preparing to get mullered by the champions elect.

It was two steps forward and two and a bit steps back this season. I suppose that's one more step forward than we've seen recently anyway.
