Hes a decent keeper. Not a world beater but a ‘safe‘ goalie, could learn how to kick if im honest though

Some good saves tonight, which is the most important thing. He's the reason we got a point out of this.

But I always shudder when crosses come in around the 6-8yd area. His commandment of this area is awful. How many times did he come for crosses/corners tonight and not get anywhere near the ball?

Totally, even short throws to the defence, I have no idea why we don't do it more often, annoys the hell out of me.

Saved us a point last night inthe first half - Victor played well enough to nearly grab us 3 points a very poor performance the worst of the season , but we have played better & got no points!

Howard made competant saves that you would have expected of a shot stopper of his calibre in the first half. Although in the context of the match they "kept us in it" the stops themselves were fairly regulation. Nothing as impressive as Boruc's stop against Anichebe for example.

Unfortunately his lack of authority on crosses into the box means there's more second balls to potentially defend and more liklihood those shot stopping skills will be tested but then that's not been breaking news since 2007.
