Didn't do anything wrong really last night.

he wasnt that bad, his kicking was woeful. but goalkeeping wise he did ok, he couldnt do nothin with Wallcotts goal. apart from that nothin else went in.

I thought he flapped a lot as well.

Pretty much this really, I dread corners because the majority of the time he just flaps and misses. Unfortunately we don't have any better at the club at the moment but the minute we do I think he needs a spell on the bench, hopefully that'll be January.

Who is bothered about having the best fans in the world? His bad patch happens every season its just spread out over 38 games.

Its hardly a bad 'patch' though. And, to be fair, I've never really liked him and have actively wanted him to leave since the '09 cup final.

I'm all for giving players a chance, even through bad spells mate, I appreciate that all players will have them at some point. The problem is that he's making to many mistakes consistently and it's been happening for a while now, not just the last few games.

The fact that he is pretty much undroppable at the moment due to the lack of competition in that position doesn't help, maybe a quality loan and a spell on the bench will do him a favour, but he needs to realise that he can't make as many mistakes as he does and still retain his place in the team.

I'm not starting a witch hunt to out him from the club, having the best fans in the world has nothing to do with the argument, any clubs fans would eventually start to lose patience with someone that has been as poor as he has for as long as he has.

We havnt got the best fans in the world regardless. Any clubs fan who says they have is a blert anyway.

He has been poor for 2 seasons now.

You've judged us all there.

Some of us (most i'd dare say) are educated football fans who know when a player is on his way down. See Tim Cahill as a prime example.
As a goalkeeper myself I can see that Tim Howard is not up to standard currently. We need either some competition for him, or a new keeper altogether.

In fact seeing as you have judged as all as 'blerts' then I will judge you as blind.

It's not an us against you scenario mate, it's just a simple difference of opinion. However your point is lost in your ranting. If you think he is worthy of a first team spot then that's fair enough, based on previous performances (not solely based on last night) I dont think he is. I'm more than happy for him to prove me wrong, in the meantime he'll continue to start purely because we dont have any other options.

Calm down mate, we support the same team and a difference of opinion is allowed, doesn't mean we dislike one another or that we are terrible fans.
