I've been to Howard's defense this season. Not anymore until he picks it up. Pathetic keeping. I wish we had someone to challenge him for his spot. I thought he was coming back into form, but that was awful. This season as a whole has been poor for him, but that was just laughable. Idk what's going on with him. The howlers he's made have rarely to never been seen with the US national team. I'm at a loss.

Nothing new I guess. His critics always seem to remember only the mistakes, never giving credit when he does make great saves.

It was an average save, at best. Bread and butter, from an acute angle. And tbh, he probably could've done better with that one too. Jones really should've scored when he gets beyond Howard...

Wow - that's one giant clump of GKers that don't really have good stats this year. Might help explain the giant clump of teams at mid-table right now. Don't think it's the leading factor, but it's definitely contributing. Not a good year for GKers so far minus a few exceptions. Surprised at Hart's percentage.

Starting to be worried for us to be honest. That form is something he'll carry with him right into World Cup Qualifying. Yuck. Wish Klinsman had played Guzan more. Sigh. At least he's finally getting starting minutes.

But still, Howard looked nowhere near as bad against Guatemala or Russia. I just don't get it.
 
After that display Howard has to be dropped for the West Ham match. Play Mucha. If we don't then it's a total joke having Mucha in the squad. I know he wants off but there's a basic principle surely that after a shocker like that Howard has to be benched or it sends out completely the wrong message. Moyes has shown faith already once or twice but enough is enough now

Why he made a great attemp to save the goalpost! - though he made a harder save minutes after & saved us a point - Duffy should have played yesterday 6.4 at the back & a good header of the ball Jags was so easily outjumped all afternoon - Distan & Duffy should have played v Stoke!
 
The dynamic of the league this year is very different then previous seasons. Very few clubs or teams are keeping clean sheet globally in the league. Defenses are more and more pressure then i ever remember and bigger questions are being asked of them more frequently. There is no long grass anymore to hide in and for me Howard has been badly exposed as a result the frailties in his game that were always there are more evident in this context and the direct result is us drawing a hell of a lot of games we should be winning. Now im not putting that solely down to Howard but his ability or lack there of are a big contributing factor to our points total for me. I dont think its form if im honest.

Some one said yesterday , dunno if they were messin or what about the turrets thing , now u always got the impression tim is fighting things upstairs which he controls and does his best not let it affect his professional performance , but just wondering is this something that has become harder to deal with and is now having a impact on him ,as physically theres no problems what so ever
