Vellios is even close to being ready to play in the premiership...I think there is a big doubt about his ability to ever play regularly at that level.
And how have you come to that conclusion again?

Erm...that stuff about Vellios sounds like rubbish.
A) we all saw he looked decent early last season
B) he said himself Moyes told him that would get more action this year
C) he was taken out of the first team because he had a barny with the boss not because he wasnt good enough.
D) he has developed well in the reserves
E) he's really really sexy
F) I have his name on the back of a shirt so he has to stay.
I don't know why this myth that he isn't good enough has spread around, nobody was saying that when he scored three goals with like ten minutes of pitch time earlier this year before he was inexplicably banished to the reseves for the rest of the reason.
I know mate.
Although I can understand Moyes taking him out.
We were struggling, and a 19 year old striker isn't great in that situation.
Yeah, I just wish he'd used him and Barkley as late season subs when we were thrashing people 4-0 with 30 minutes to go instead of mcfadden and cahill.
cahill should stay till he is about 45, the guys a legend, so what if he doesnt score or anything and he could be our goalie after that - even if he lets about 700 in it will be worth it to have him around the placeAnd even if he stays, you really see Cahill as good enough to play as our lone striker for the season if anything happened to Jelavic? He stunk the place out last season, with respect to the guy.

Hmm
Look, i'm not going to sit here and rave about Rodallega like it would be a great coup. But replacing one bad squad player by selling them, with a better squad player on a free is good business in my eyes.
Cahill is not a striker, and defenders have field days against him these days. He should be leaving.
Naismith again, I don't think he would play the lone striker role that well, better behind the main man.
And 2 young'uns.
He played for our academy/reserves so he must be crap and not good enough for the first team.
We should just sell him to Shrewsbury Town and be done with it.
