John Merro seems convinced he and Pranjic are coming in the next week as well as Pienaar and Tom Ince, said it was going to be a good summer which was retweeted by THT. This lad seems to know stuff because a lot of people seem to trust him, he was also the first one to break the news that we were in for Naismith and then was the first to confirm we'd actually signed him.

speaking about Rodallega himself, good player who was courted by the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham last season, but probably went a bit stale playing for a struggling side in the last year of his contract, I remember being thoroughly impressed with him in past games, so I'd be very happy to sign him up.

Hearing that we're after so many players is good, but it just makes me more worried that we'll lose more important members of our current squad.

Roll on 01/09/2012.

If we're going on 'ITK's' we're only interested in selling Anichebe, Yobo and Cahill, you'd argue they are all on the fringes of things, although i'd be disappointed to see Cahill go because I can still see him coming good.

happy to see Anichebe yobo and cahill, wages free from three players who have offered nothing or extremely little recently.

Selling those 3 players mentioned above will generate enough for Pienaar and the freebies signing on fee's.
Wouldnt pay a fee for Donovan personally, would rather get him on loan and then get him for free at the end of the loan, makes more sense IMO.

i admire your optimism. do you think he should be given a starting place for a further 1 or maybe 2 seasons to "come good" maybe your wish will come true and the Dubai/china wages wont be high enough to tempt him to leave.

Hugo is free

I wonder what his wages would be like?

If we brought in a total of Naismith, Pienaar, Pranjic, Rodallega and Donovan and moved on Anichebe, Yobo and Cahill then I'd be over the moon, that would be considered a very successful transfer window. I'm almost certain one of Baines or Fellaini will go though, god forbid maybe even both of them. So for the time being I'm going with the mindset that at least one of them will be gone by the time the window shuts, partly so I don't get too depressed if it happens.

Don't forget McFadden, Hahnemann, Straq and Drenthe, they were all drawing a wage that is off the books now.

Exactly these off plus potentially 2 fringe players gone as well. Cahill expected to stay however. Everton have only sold players who WANT to leave, neither Baines nor Fellaini do, we DO NOT have to sell purely for financial reasons. Neither will leave
