At a decent price I think he could be worth a punt, were a better side than Wigan so he may have the ability to step up

Agreed, he could be very good for us, I just think we are starting to need relative certainties rather than punts.
 

He's worth about £10million. He's Wigan's top goalscorer, they bought him for about £6million and he's got a few years left on his contract. He's very important to them too.

Just because he's a Wigan player doesnt mean he isnt any good or worth that amount. He's a very good striker who is an all rounder...a bit like Saha.
 
He's a good, though not great, player who could fill an important roll for us as Saha's replacement/Beckford's partner.

Unfortunately we can't afford him unless we either sell someone or Wigan go down so there's no truth to it.
 
He's a very good player than can play up top or on the wing. His finishing has drastically improved the past year or two.
 

£10m is obviously too much for him given he's in the last year of his contract, but around £6m and he could be the bargain of the summer.
