It's a poor team but it's a very open team that attack in numbers the way Everton don't.

They attack, true, but they don't really have any 'killer final ball' players in their team. They mostly bomb forward with a rush of blood, remember that they don't really know what they're doing, then despondently look at the floor shaking their heads. Which is basically my sweet style between the sheets.

I'll maintain - judging him on his scoring stats is a little reductive. We should also judge him on his lack of effort, too-thin braids, ponderous attitude and slightly too-chubby cheeks.

Why would he when he already has Jelavic playing there?

I don't expect him to start. He'll be cover for Jelavic the way Beckford was cover for Saha. We won't often see them both on the pitch at the same time. Even after we play them together for one game and they turn out to have a boss understanding and score 6 each.

Judging by the Youtube video, if it weren't for N'Zogbia, Wigan would literally have never scored a goal. I think his record is good considering the service.

I'm pretty sure Jelavic will be playing at centre half next season...why would Moyes want to get more than one good season out of a striker?

If Baines leaves and all these forwards come into the picture, the way they play will be completely transformed. I thought that is what a lot of people here wanted.

Beginning of the 2009-10 season we had all 4. Cos Moyes used to chuck Jo and Yakubu on for the second half in Europe if we were chasing a lead and we went 4-3-3. It was exciting times.

Used to drive me crazy when Moyes did that. Beckford would have been great in a system with 2 up front.

Moyes was trying to fit a square peg in a round hole again. He did the same thing with Beattie.

I think he's got more chance of becoming one then Rodallega.

Think Vellios could be a good player- he has the attributes to be a proper centre forward. I think Moyes doesnt think hes quite ready yet so makes sense to bring in others while he is developing. Hes 20 years old and played about 14 games in the premier league. Rodallega adds premier league experience to what has been a paper thin squad over the years.

Very much this, i see him fitting in left or right on a front three - i see us going 4-2-3-1. He can provide cover for the one up front if required. I think he will surprise a few if he signs he is not an orthadox striker, he is a very technical player, with skill/pace and penetration and he has a shot on him.

Prob going to Sunderland like.

Good athlete, fit, gave a good effort. Not much of a footballer, for this level. Nothing to be ashamed of, I'd be a third choice right back for a pub team.
