blame martinez all you like, but the 11/14 he puts out every week are not playing for him, the shirt or their employers. yes, you can lose games/drop points by playing a midfielder out of position on the wing etc. but you don't lose games continually so meekly as that, gifting teams goals and providing no threat in attack.

everyone's at fault tbh, if the manager should be sacked for these performances, so should virtually the whole squad, because they have been barbaric. no point in looking for scapegoats now, it's gone past that stage. he needs to rid barry from the starting line-up.
