I still have a lot of faith in Martínez. After watching his conference for the Hull game a few days ago, i understood that his footballing philosophy is not where it should be at the moment because of our defensive form. Possession football only works if you have a solid defence and we don't currently have that.

But there should be no calling for his head at this stage, because he finished 5th in his first season, above the likes of Man Utd & Spurs and although we are currently in 12th position, we are seeing a real close battle for all league positions, one which i've never witnessed before; teams like Southampton & West Ham having unexpected runs, pushing above their weight & forcing the likes of ourselves, spurs & kopites further down the table.

All it takes is a win, then it can snowball from there. Happy New Year Blues, let's start it with a win.

Where does Chico fall with the NYE celebrations then? Is he a get ripped off in town type or get loaded at a house party type? Or, like me, never seen the point in it anyway might have a few bevvies if I can be arsed type (i.e. no mates)? Whichever way the preview could be a last minute thing.
Am way too nervous about a match against effin Hull.
Fireworks over the Melbourne skyline did it for me last night, but what I really need on NYD is a win at Hull. Shouldn't be too hard fgs.

Don't know why that quote above got in but I don't really care. We just want to win.
