Brainthwaite is an amazing player who is paid to play.and does so to excellent standards. The other one spends 50% of the time on his ass whinging about fouls that never were. Richarlison is too dishonest to cut it with us now. His talent used to make him look good in a failing team. We are not failing any longer and we dont need his posing and acting. Along with James he is symptomatic of our past failings. Keep your cheating ego aa far away as it can go.
I love a bit of controversy a few shots in.

Nope.

Branthwaite has huge potential and has been doing it consistently at such a young age this season at Everton. Richarlison, who is a great lad, is deeply inconsistent, if talented. I said, prior to his sale, that he would remain on the Spurs bench. People were making him out to be some world talent, but he's just a decent Premier League player, nothing more. His finishing is suspect, but he's got a great heart. For that latter reason alone, I'd like to see him back with us - but he is not a top performer, and certainly I wouldn't have him back in place of Branthwaite. Young Jarrad really has been a star for us this season.

Not a chance. We all loved Richy but he did choose to leave. He could have said I don’t want to leave and I want to sign a new contract. Plus, there are simply other wingers out there who will score and create more than him.

The defence is so important. Was have all seen what happens when players like Jags, Stones etc leave. You end up with a Distin, or an Ashley Williams. Tarky and Jarred are both class in my opinion. I like the fact Jarred is getting all the plaudits as it’s taken the shine from Tarks who you could argue has been amazing for ages. A free transfer. Unreal. He could play for any top 6 club easy.

I loved Richie but he left and that’s it, in my opinion.

I’d rather not keep bringing players back. They’re almost always a slightly worse version of the player that left us. Too much expectation and inevitable disappointment usually follows.

It’s like going back to an ex girlfriend/ boyfriend.

I’d never deal with Spurs again if money/fees are involved, swerve the bald bell. Tottenham can only dream of having a centre back as good as this kid is going to be, he’s destined for the very top on his current trajectory which is also somewhere Tottenham can only ever dream of so there’s no point in Jarrad taking a sideways step to play in front of the most moronic and amusingly entitled fans in Britain. Richie can run his contract down and come home for nothing.

Yes, they come back with the clap.

Serious, if the money is there, I'd have Richarlison back in a heartbeat.

If a team wants Branthwaite, then that's going to be some serious coinage right now. I would not be surprised if Spurs were just the stalking horse to set things up for a major team making a sizeable bid. I would prefer we keep him, but am prepared for his sale if it strengthens the squad and first team overall and improves our finances. That's how a business is supposed to be.

Greedy spuds want Branthwaite, if you believe the clickbait. They also want to offload Richarlison, if you believe the clickbait. I believe nothing from the media desperate to create articles out of thin air for revenue. But it got me thinking . . Would you?

For me, it's a resounding no. I like our defence the way it is, and we're knocking goals in without Richie. Branthwaite is the future.

(Yeah yeah I made a mess of the title. Can't change it either.)

you been watching my threads lol
