Didn't mean to show disrespect, knowing there are so many Aussies on here, and you must be at a low ebb at the moment, but look at Chris Gayle, the Windies captain - by his own admission he was not interested in the tests and one dayers against England, but smashed 88 in 50 balls in the twenty20 against Oz, and pocketed an obscene amount of money for a few weeks work in the IPL.

Unfortunately money is taking over and spoiling the game. I still love it though, looking forward to the summer, and I am sure you aussies will bounce back and take the ashes back home

jeez Australia must be in the hardest group. West Indies and Sri Lanka, two teams that can actually play the game. Where the hell is our Scotland or ones of those teams who can't play

still, a good 5 day test tops just about anything on this green earth.

Nice call on the tests, Teppic. If you hate cricket, youve never been to an ashes match, no disrespect taken bro. Its 10% cricket, 15% the crowds reaction to the match and 75% getting sloshed, baking in the sunshine, bouncing beach balls around, building beer cup snakes and watching security scramble after them, watching security eject people, perving on the good looking women, and generally during the day building up a drunken repertoire with the people around you.

Its like a day out with 25,000 other people, overpriced grog and the barmy army singing on the Hill for 8 hours straight. Magic.
