There is a version of this on the main Palace forum and it works very well.Only other thing would be to start a thread (or maybe one "lost GOTers" thread) to see if anyone knew a poster irl or had other non-GOT contact.
@Pat's Van is going top of the list.I think this is the way to go. Family or friends notifying GOT for you.
There was a gentleman several years ago that passed and his family logged in to let us know. And more recently @messymascot arranged to have a friend let us know.

Think it was @Woolly Blue that knew him irl, but then woolly has gone missing too@Pat's Van is going top of the list.
Too many scrooges who moan but hope to have something 12 days rather than whole month of December.
I still exchange messages with the lovely Woolly on occasionThink it was @Woolly Blue that knew him irl, but then woolly has gone missing too
Hahaha, ive done the same with the wife.I have asked my nearest and dearest come on here and my whatsapp friends group and let y'all know should anything ever happen to me.
The law of averages suggest we have lost many souls over the years sadly.Be horrible that, something happening and not knowing. Grown close to some very good people who I met through this place. Be genuinely gutted if anything happened to any of them and i/we never knew ?
I’ve asked hubby to do so too.I have asked my nearest and dearest come on here and my whatsapp friends group and let y'all know should anything ever happen to me.
As said above, when regulars just suddenly stop posting is defo a strange one. Leaves you wondering if they're ok etc and not have a way of knowing.
