That’s like Liverpool say their best play is Henderson or Wijnaldum. Good money fir a 30yr old with limitations. Let’s hope we can bring some quality in now.

He is so much more than that, but okay, you never rated him.

His 'running around winning tackles' allowed us to actually play some decent stuff going forward in that first Koeman season and also last season. Now we have to change and hopefully in the long run we'll improve, albeit it'll take time.

I have no issue with the club waiting to ensure they get teh deal they wanted. It just unfortunate it is so late. I expect us to announce a player or two later today/tomorrow to soften things

Gutted cos he was brilliant at his job, but not gutted too as I think even though he was great the possibility of moving forward with someone a little more rounded could happen, so long as its not schneiderat.
