As said he was never the sitting midfielder and i think it was more a poor formation and tactics from dyche which was the biggest problem. Even in pre season teams have been running straight through our centre. The formation isnt right for who we've got. I would like to see garner alongside gana gueye in centre midfield. He can sit and allow gana to play to his strengths closing down or snuffing out attacks early.

He’s 34 and his legs have gone. This isn’t a new concept in football.
