It was never as bad as people make out anyway. He is a decent passer and a good footballer.He goes down with the likes of Jags, Osman and Baines in my eyes. He’s a blue and has been one of our best players in recent years. He never had a final third goal making pass but that was never him. He was always the machine. A tackler. Optimises the Everton spirit. Weirdly i feel like his passing now is better than it’s ever been.
His issue was always he holds on to the ball all little too long at times and he can be wildly erratic at random moments.
