Nope.
Such a weird decision from a ref who was consistently weird on the day. Even from the Park End that looked a stonewall penalty in real time, and the referee had a clear view and was about ten yards away.

He gave a free against Barry when he won the ball lol yet waves this on. Maybe my liquor addled memory is playing up but I don't remember Refs, as a group, getting so much wrong as they have recently. Absolutely turgid stuff.
All you need to know about why this wasn't a pen is this is the same ref who about 15 minutes earlier gave a foul against Cleverley for literally no reasoning.
He nearly cost us a goal and potentially could have been sent off... that 86% is low considering he always passes back towards the GK. I'm not slating him I think he's class.. but this just highlights how someone can have a bad game but still have a very good game according to stats ... believe what you see on the pitch... not what you read after the game
