they had trueno's in nz, diff shape to that though also called a levin.
the other car i considered when i got the r32 was mitzi evo, they were upto about 7 or 8 but it was about a 3 that was same budget as the r32.there was alancer that went through an auction that was mint not an evo but 4wd turbo, leather and all the nice bits,in my fav efc blue too with great polished rims but i got outbid by some asian guy buying it for his 15 y.o. son, cant remember the model.
another class car here that when i went fruit picking in italy a guy took us around the farms looking for work, it was up in the alps close to madonna di campiglio and as expected with a car like this, he knew all the short cuts through forests, along woodland tracks etc, he was only giving us a lift so he could show off, and boy did he do that, he could drive this thing like a pro. i found out later that he was absolutely minted & this was his toy,all the farmers knew him, he probably sold them their lambo tractors. i give you
the lancia delta integrale evo......
That is the Lancia you want. The Delta S4 Group B Rally car. This was part of the group of cars that were banned from racing because they were too damn fast!!! Spaceframe chassis, kevlar bodywork and no limit on power. This particular one had a 'twin-charged' engine. Basically it had a supercharger to get it off the line, then at 5-6000 rpms a clutch disengaged the supercharger and engaged a jock-off turbo. So it had SEAMLESS ludicrous power available from idle to redline. 0-60mph.......about 3 seconds IN THE DIRT!!!!!!
This car actually brought about the end of the group B cars by killing its driver Henri Toivonen in Corsica IIRC. His am his American (shock horror) co-driver could only be identified by dental records. They went off of a cliff and the fuel cell exploded. Nothing left but the spaceframe.
