If we lose to Bournemouth on Saturday should Lampard be sacked?

Should Lampard be sacked if we fail to win our final league game before the World Cup?

Your only ever three or four straight defeats from the sack in modern football, that applies at both ends of the table.

I don't place any material significance on tonight's result, but the manner of the defeat added to Saturday just adds fuel to the fire.

If we get three points on Saturday, that's the result that counts for me. Will we though?

Another defeat puts pressure on him but with the WC break coming, it may be his own luck in the timing.

I'd say it was knee-jerk to sack him but it wouldn't be a huge surprise, and wouldn't be any surprise at all, unfortunately, if things don't turn over the Christmas and New Year period.

It's a results business, excuses or not, and results have been between underwhelming and poor.

We have two players in our squad that could have come close on the shot Gray scored on tonight

Gray and McNeil

That's it, and includes our injured striker. And people want our manager to create goals out of thin air with this lot we have.

We have bottom 5, bottom 3 attacking talent in the league. We need to make that a priority in January.
